Five Centuries of Kozbeyli

The story of Kozbeyli Konağı does not run in a single line; the village's five centuries, the mansion's 19th century and its faithful restoration meet across three scenes.

A Five-Century Village

Kozbeyli, the village around the mansion, is one of the Aegean's oldest settlements — a five-century texture of stone lanes, courtyards and cisterns that still breathes today.

A Merchant's Mansion

The registered stone mansion rose between 1870 and 1891 for the region's prosperous merchant families. The wine and olive-oil cellars on its ground floor remain quiet witnesses to that commercial age.
